First up, I just finished the necklace to go with my bracelet. Which means that just as soon as I can get a good picture of it, I will post it for ya'll to see.
And which means that I can also get a good pic of another necklace I completed a couple weeks ago (didn't post it because I didn't want to break the continuity with the bracelet). It's one that I'd started AGES ago and forgot about until recently. So I will get that posted soon as well.
Other bits of productivity- Got the office just about completely back to being clean, hung up the husband's Raiders clock, and got the bookshelves in the back free of non-book crap and organized(ish) so that when I get all the rest of our books back from the storage unit on saturday they will have someplace to go and will already have a bit of an organizational scheme done.
Also left to do- sew the curtains for the office, take down the old ones, and mount the new ones. The longest part of this will be the sewing (that's what I get for doing it all by hand, lol!).
Also, finally got started on the secret comic project, and Sun's piece is coming along nicely, if a bit slowly (due to me working on 5000 things at once, as usual). BUT, it IS getting done.
And I'll probably be an exhausted wreck the next couple of weeks, as I try to get everything else figured out. The roommate is moving out, and will be gone as of Thursday. (Thankfully, she is still going to pay ALL the rent/bills for January so that will help.)
Saturday is the trip to storage to get all of OUR stuff and turn the unit over to her. And once everything gets back here, I have to sort out what is going where, what's going to whom, and the like, as well as putting away a TON of books and other things. I'll be lucky if I get anything creative done, lol.
Well, anyway, that's all for now. Just thought I'd do an update, since I've been and felt actually productive for a change.
Later.
