Rings, Rings, Rings, Rings...And what do I mean by rings? Glorious wonderful tiny little things that come in all kinds of fun colors that I can bend to my will. Alluminum, enameled copper... and bestest of all- stainless steel! *dances*
I should have my ring order here in a couple of weeks. And I can't wait to play around with the stainless. I'm going to be in such heaven!
I've even managed to snag me FLOOR SWEEPINGS. Even a pound of HIGH QUALITY Floor Sweepings as well. *is extra excited, because those are next to impossible to get* I can't wait!!!!
As it is right now, I've got enough for one definitely, two maybe, more of my newest piece, so on the off chance someone else wants one (I've already sold 2, yay!), I can do that in no time.
And, of course, the husband's company christmas party on saturday is formal. Bleh. But it gives me an excuse to dress up. And wear one of my creations. And make him wear one too.
Gah. Am making his now- a silver and blue chainmail tie to wear on saturday. OMG, it's going to look AWESOME. (it's SOOOOooo going to be a clip on, lol)
BUT. I can't work on it any more tonight. After a bit of set-up to get it going, another 2.5 hours later my fingers are revolting and not letting me continue until tomorrow. The design is one I made up, and am rather proud of, and so far is looking to do exactly what I want- be simple, but look complicated and more intricate than it actually is. So far so good, but given the progress I've made in two and a half hours, I'm estimating I've another 8 ahead of me. *faints* *twitches*
When its done, I will see if I can't get a REALLY good pic of it (yeah right) so you can really see the detail, but don't expect TOO much. We'll see. But I'll still post at least a decent(ish, given my phone) pic of it anyway! Goodness knows I'm going to be proud of it when it's done, lol.
Okay.... I'm off to bed now. Want to get up early to get some work in before heading to lunch to meet the sis-in-law's boyfriend.

I've no idea what'll be in there, but it'll give me a fun taste of different kinds of rings and sizes and colors. The high quality ones mean I could get some titanium, maybe even some of the sterling silver, the more expensive ones like that.

Sad part is, now I'm thinking that I can make into a sort of "necklace" type deal, where it can be closed in the back, and not be just a clip on.....
Hrm... may have to experiment with that when the main part is done.
